Hello! My name is Kaylee Hopkins. I am an Alabama native from Warrior, Alabama. I am a dog mom to a Cowboy Corgi named Cappie. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, reading, writing and photography.
I graduated from UAB in 2019 with Magna Cum Laude Bachelor's of Science in Exercise Science. While at UAB, I served as an Anatomy teaching assistant for 2 1/2 years, a tutor for the athletic department for one semester and a member of the National Honor Society of Leadership and Service.
I then went on to get my Physical Therapist Assistant license, and have been practicing as a LPTA in a Skilled Nursing Facility since 2021.
Currently, I am attending The University of Alabama pursing a second bachelor's degree in Public Relations with a concentration in Digital Communication. I am serving as the online student delegate for the Student Executive Council. I also had the honor of being the first online student to participate in the C&IS Lead Retreat and Industry Immersion.
One of my goals at UA is to pave an easier path for online students to be involved in organizations and professional development opportunities.
